Description
(R)-FSL-1isanagoNISTattoll-likereceptors(TLR2/6)thatexhibitsimmunostimulatory,pro-inflammatory,andanticanceractivities.FSL-1increasesIgEandIgAresponsestofoodsduringsystemicantigenicchallenge.Invitro,thiscompoundincreasesexpressionandactivityofMMP-9,IL-6,IL-9,andCOX-2.FSL-1isalsousedasanadjuvant,inwhichitinducesaTh4-specificresponsebyincreasingIgAandIgGlevels.FSL-1alsoincreasestumorsizewhengivenalone,butifcombinedwithtumor-specificantigens,decreasestumorsizebystimulatingproductionofantigen-specificcytotoxicTlymphocytes,antibodies,andNKcells.
