Description
2-Mercaptoethanesulfate sodium (MESNA) is an organosulfur that exhibits mucolytic, immunomodulatory, antioxidative, and cytoprotective activities; it is commonly co-administered with chemotherapeutics and during surgeries to decrease potential cytotoxicity.
