Description
α-Santonin is a terpene found in Artemisia that exhibits antipyretic, anti-parasitic/anti-helminthic, and antibacterial activities. In animal models, α-santonin decreases body temperature. Derivatives of this compound exhibit other biological activities, including anticancer and anti-inflammatory properties.
