Description
Urotensin I is an endogenous peptide ligand and member of the corticotropin-releasing factor (CRF) family. Urotensin I can be used as a biomarker for heart failure in clinical settings. Urotensin I modulates stress responses in vivo and can exhibit anxiogenic and anorexigenic activities.
