Description
Bafilomycin B1 is a macrolide antibiotic that also exhibits antifungal activity. Bafilomycin B1 inhibits the vacuolar H+ ATPase. Additionally, bafilomycin B1 inhibits Foxo1 and increases β cell apoptosis, accelerating the onset of diabetes.
