Description
Tryprostatin A is a diketopiperazine originally produced by Aspergillus fumigatus. Tryprostatin A exhibits anticancer activity, inhibiting breast cancer resistance protein. Tryprostatin A also inhibits microtubule polymerization, interacting with MAP2, tau, and poly-(l-lysine) and preventing cell cycle progression in vitro.
