Description
A-779 is an inhibitor of the Mas receptor. On its own, A-779 has no biological activity; however, through binding the Mas receptor, it inhibits angiotensin (1-7) signaling (preventing vasodilation and insulin sensitization) and inhibits some downstream insulin signaling.
