Description
Ro 20-1724 is a phosphodiesterase inhibitor that has been shown to enhance cognition in streptozocin treated rats. In addition to learning and memory improvements, Ro 20-1724 was also found to attenuate oxidative stress and restore cholinergic functions. Furthermore, this inhibitor was also shown to produce a potent anti-inflammatory effect in a murine model.
