Description
Trichostatin A is an inhibitor of class I and II HDACs that exhibits anticancer and immunomodulatory activities. Trichostatin A induces cell cycle arrest, increases phosphorylation of JNK, downregulates activity of MCM-2, induces apoptosis, and inhibits proliferation of colon cancer cells. Trichostatin A also enhances differentiation and activity of CD4+ Foxp3+ Treg cells. Additionally, trichostatin A alters mammalian RNA splicing. Trichostatin A also alters RNA splicing.
