Description
Tiplaxtinininhibitsplasminogenactivatorinhibitor1(PAI-1),decreasingwouldclosureandcollagendeposition.Tiplaxtininexhibitsanti-inflammatory,anti-fibrotic,anti-allergic,anti-angiogenic,andanticancerchemotherapeuticactivities.Tiplaxtinininhibitscarotidarteryneointimalformationandincreasesapoptosisinvascularsmoothmusclecells.Inmodelsofbladdercancer,thiscompoundinhibitsangiogenesis,increasesapoptosis,anddecreasescellproliferation,celladhesion,andtumorgrowth.Tixplatininalsodecreasesinflammation,collagendeposition,andairwayhyperresponsivenessinanimalmodelsofOVA-inducedpulmonaryremodeling.
