AS-604850 is an inhibitor of p110γ PI3K that exhibits anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive activities. In animal models of experimental autoimmune encephalitis (EAE), AS-604850 decreases the number of leukocytes infiltrated into the CNS and ameliorates disease symptoms. AS-604850 also decreases chemotactic responses of eosinophils to platelet activating factor (PAF).
