Description
Diphenhydramineisafirstgenerationantihistaminethatexhibitsanti-tussive,antiemetic,sedative,anti-allergic,andanticholinergicactivities.Diphenhydramineinhibitsmuscarinicacetylcholinereceptors(mAChRs)andNa+channelsandactsasaninverseagoNISTathistamineH1receptors.Invivo,diphenhydraminedecreasesleukocyteinfiltrationintoinjurysites.
