Description
Ranitidine is an inverse agonist at H2 histamine receptors, inducing receptor desensitization and inhibiting downstream signaling. Ranitidine displays antacid activity and is clinically used to treat peptic ulcer disease and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
