Cyclosporin B is a derivative of cyclosporin A that exhibits significantly less immunosuppressive activity. Cyclosporin B displays antiviral properties, inhibiting entry of hepatitis B into hepatocytes. Cyclosporin B also inhibits RANKL-induced TRAP phosphatase activity, inducing apoptosis in osteoclasts.
