Description
AZD-1208 is a Pim-1 kinase inhibitor that exhibits anticancer chemotherapeutic activity. In acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) cells, AZD-1208 induces cell cycle arrest and apoptosis, inhibiting phosphorylation of downstream targets such as Bcl-2, 4EBP1, p70S6K, and S6 and suppressing cell growth. In vivo, AZD-1208 inhibits growth of prostate tumor xenografts.
