Description
Glucagon is an endogenous pancreatic peptide hormone that binds glucagon receptors to increase glucose levels and counteract the effects of insulin. Glucagon is clinically used to treat severe hypoglycemia and anaphylactic shock. Glucagon exhibits some antihypertensive activity, decreasing blood pressure.
