Description
Minoxidil is an NO agonist/donor that exhibits vasodilatory and antihypertensive activities; minoxidil is clinically used to treat hair loss, as its activity allows increased blood and nutrient flow to hair follicles. Minoxidil also binds the androgen receptor and inhibits androgen receptor-related functions.
