Description
Itopride is an inhibitor of acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and D2 receptors; it exhibits prokinetic gastrointestinal motility modulating activity. Itopride is clinically used to treat functional dyspepsia and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Itopride inhibits lower esophageal sphincter relaxation.
