Description
Dapivirine is a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI) that is currently in clinical trials as a prophylactic against HIV infection. In various models such as dendritic cells and T cells, dapivirine exhibits antiviral activity by suppressing viral replication.
