Description
Diflunisal is a long-acting non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that is clinically used to treat arthritis and dental pain. Diflunisal inhibits COX-1 and COX-2, exhibiting anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, analgesic, and antiviral activities. In vitro, diflunisal inhibits docking of HIV-1 to LEDGF/p75, preventing viral integration.
