Description
ThisproductconsistsofamixtureofoligomycinsA,BandC.Oligomycinsaremacrolideantibioticsthatexhibitantibacterialactivity.OligomycinssuppressoxidativephosphorylationinthemitochondriabyinhibitingK+-activatedcurrentoftheNa+/K+ATPase.Invitro,oligomycinsinhibitIFN-γ-andTNF-α-inducedreductionsintransepithelialresistanceandparacellularpermeABIlity.OligomycinsalsoinhibittheincreaseinexpressionandphosphorylationofMLC,preventingintestinalepithelialbarrierdysfunctioninducedbyinflammatorycytokines.
