Description
Cytochalasin C is a mycotoxin actin polymerization inhibitor initially produced by species of Aspergillus. Cytochalasin C inhibits motility of spermatozoa in vitro. This compound also increases transcription of TGF-β, collagenase, fibronectin, and procollagens 1 and 2 in vitro.
