Description
Endothelin-1 is an endogenous peptide agonist at endothelin A and B (ET-A/B) receptors that exhibits anti-angiogenic and vasoconstrictive activities. Endothelin-1 decreases tube formation and PPARγ expression in pulmonary artery endothelial cells. This peptide also increases expression of IL-18 in osteoblasts, inducing proliferation.
