Description
Pressinoic acid is an N-terminal vasopressin peptide analog that binds the arginine vasopressin receptor. Pressinoic acid can replace IL-2 or helper cells necessary for IFN-γ production by lymphocytes. Unlike vasopressin and other analogs, pressinoic acid does not exhibit significant pressor activity.
