Description
Pranoprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that exhibits anti-inflammatory activity; it is clinically used to treat dry eye. Pranoprofen inhibits COX-1 and COX-2. Pranoprofen inhibits production of sodium urate-induced superoxide, prostaglandin E2 (PGE2), and β-glucuronidase.
