Flutriafolisatriazoleantifungalpesticide;itactsasademethylationinhibitor,preventingsterolbiosynthesisanddisruptingmembranefunction.Flutriafolmayalsoexhibitneuromodulatoryandantioxidativeactivityinvivo,asitinducesreleaseofdopamineintheratstriatumthroughoverstimulationofNMDAreceptorsandincreasingNOproduction.Flutriafol-evokeddopaminereleasealsoappearstobedependentonNa+andCa2+signaling.
