FusarenonXisaFusariumtypeBtrichothecenemycotoxin.Invitro,thiscompounddisplayssignificantgenotoxicandcytotoxicactivity,increasingDNAstrandbreaks.Invivo,fusarenonXinducesananorecticresponseresultinginfoodrefusal.Thismycotoxinwasinitiallyproducedbymycoplasmainbarley,maize,oats,andotherlivestockfeedgrains.
