Description
This compound is an N-acetyl cysteine conjugate of phenethylisothiocyanate (PEITC-NAC), exhibiting anticancer chemotherapeutic and chemopreventive activities. In lung cancer and prostate cancer models, PEITC-NAC increases activation of JNK, p53, and MAPKs, inducing apoptosis, decreasing tumor growth, and limiting tumorigenesis.
