Description
L-Selenomethionine is a naturally-occurring amino acid found in grains, nuts, and legumes. L-Selenomethionine exhibits antioxidative and chemopreventive activities, although clinical studies show inconsistent data on potential health benefits. In some models, L-selenomethionine delays development of UV-induced tumors.
