Description
Luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone III (LHRH III) is a peptide hormone originally found in lamprey eels. LHRH III induces release of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), but not luteinizing hormone (LH), unlike other LHRH analogs. LHRH III also weakly activates ERK1/2 and p38 MAPK in ovine pituitary cells.
