Description
PluriSin 1 is a pluripotent cell-specific inhibitor that induces endoplasmic reticular stress and apoptosis in pluripotent stem cells. This compound inhibits stearoyl-coA desaturase 1 (SCD1), preventing teratoma formation in tumorigenic undifferentiated cells. Plurisin1 prevents undifferentiated cells from developing into tumors when used to regenerate tissues such as the heart.
