Description
Phenylethyl 3-methylcaffeate exhibits anticancer chemotherapeutic and chemopreventive activities. Phenylethyl-3-methylcaffeate is a hydroxycinnamic acid and derivative of methylcaffeate. This compound decreases the incidence, number, and volume of tumors in various animal models. Additionally, this compound induces apoptosis and inhibits carcinogenesis in animal models of colon cancer.
