Description
Inositol is an endogenous sugar produced from glucose that can also be found in various fruits. Inositol is a component of inositol monophosphate (IMP) and phosphatidyl inositol, important cell signaling molecules. Inositol plays a role in insulin sensitivity and glucose disposal.
