Description
Iloperidone is a benzisoxazole phenylethanone second-generation antipsychotic used to treat schizophrenia. Iloperidone inhibits D2 receptors and 5-HT2A receptors, resulting in fewer extrapyramidal symptoms than first-generation antipsychotics. This compound may inhibit K+ repolarization (hERG) channels, prolonging the QT interval and inducing ventricular tachyarrhythmia.
