Description
Melitracen hydrochloride is an clinically acceptable effective tricyclic antidepressant that exerts no harmful cardiac side effects, unlike many other antidepressants. This compound is often administered with flupenthixol as “deanxit,” which shows efficacy in the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia and increases quality of life ratings in subjects with functional dyspepsia. This compound is likely an antagonist at D1/2 receptors.
