Description
Moguisteine is a non-narcotic anti-tussive compound that is used to prevent chronic cough. Moguisteine may derive its function through inhibition of rapidly-adapting irritant receptors or through activation of ATP-sensitive K+ channels in the tracheobronchial tract.
